Like many stories of transformation, mine began in a place of confusion and discomfort. I was diagnosed with PCOS, endometriosis, and insulin resistance, and for a long time, I felt like the odd one out. Like a duckling trying to keep up in a world that made womanhood and wellness seem effortless. My body felt foreign, my hormones unpredictable, and my relationship with food complicated at best.
FROM DUCKLING DAYS TO SWAN SERENITY
We all begin a little unsure, don’t we
Trying hard to appear calm on the outside while under the surface we’re paddling like mad. I spent years in that space, obsessing over food labels, blaming my body, chasing perfection I thought was required to be healthy.
But here is the truth. Becoming a swan doesn’t mean becoming perfect. It means becoming yourself.
It is about moving at your own pace, finding trust in your body again, and learning to move through life with a kind of grace that isn’t for show. It is for you.
FOOD AS CARE, HEALTH AS FRIENDSHIP
Now, as a Nutritional Therapist, I don’t just bring education to my practice. I bring experience. I have been the girl crying in front of the mirror, and the woman finding joy in slow mornings and nourishing meals. I know how hard it can be to feel at home in your own skin.
Managing my health today looks different. I don’t force my body into obedience. I listen to it, work with it, nourish it like I would someone I love.
And when people ask me how I found balance, I often say, “My body wasn’t being difficult, it was being honest. Once I stopped fighting and started listening, everything changed.
The Swan’s Secret: Balance
Like a swan gliding effortlessly across a crystalline lake, true health emanates from balance, that magical equilibrium where nourishment, joy, and mindfulness converge. The swan appears serene above water while paddling purposefully below, a perfect metaphor for how I approach wellness now.
The Mediterranean diet became my enchanted forest, where inflammatory dragons were tamed and hormonal storms calmed. But equally important was learning that occasional indulgences are not villains in our story. They are simply colorful characters who should make brief, enjoyable appearances rather than taking up permanent residence.

Some of the illustrations you’ll see are my own pencil drawings, while others are customized AI creations that I’ve tailored to fit the content.
